Born in August 1987, Dr. Rakesh Venuturumilli is a highly accomplished critical care specialist, anesthesiologist, and healthcare innovator with a remarkable career spanning over a decade. He completed his MBBS and anaesthesia training at Rangaraya Medical College, where he laid the foundation for his journey in medicine. He pursued his DNB in anaesthesia from KGH, Coimbatore, and further specialized in critical care medicine at KIMS. To refine his expertise, Dr. Rakesh completed advanced training in ECMO at RVMH, Mumbai, becoming a pioneer in this life-saving technology.

Dr. Rakesh holds a patent in ECMO technology and is a fellow of the Kalam Institute of Health Technology, recognizing his contributions to medical innovation. He was the first consultant to airlift an ECMO patient from Odisha, a milestone in critical care transport in India.

Currently, he serves as the Clinical Director for the NASA Group of Hospitals across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, overseeing critical care and clinical operations with a focus on ethical and cost-conscious care. He founded Varahi Care Services, which provides critical care, anaesthesia, ECMO, and rehabilitation services. Additionally, Varahi Rehab Center, another initiative under his leadership, specializes in neuro, ortho, and drug rehabilitation, extending care beyond hospital walls.
